Hoodlums attack Ondo police station, kill cop

Unknown gunmen attacked the Okuta Elerinla Police Station in Akure, the Ondo State capital, late Sunday evening.

The details about the incident were still sketchy at the time of filing this report.

But it was gathered that one of the policemen at the station was shot dead by the bandits.

The Public Relations Officer of the command, Funmilayo Odunlami, confirmed the incident. She said an investigation had commenced into the attack.
