Rampaging gunmen suspected to be kidnappers, in the early hours of Thursday, June 24, stormed the Hilltop Hotel in Tunga Maje, on the outskirts of Abuja, kidnapping Honourable Friday Sani Makama, Prince Frederick Adejoh, and an unconfirmed number of people.
While Hon Makama was a former lawmaker in the Kogi State House of Assembly who recently defected from the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Adejoh is the Oma Onu Aya of Igala land.
The gunmen shot sporadically into the air, scaring away the security guards guiding the hotel before proceeding to kidnap and whisk the victims away.
One of the abductees, Prince Adejoh, is the owner of the hotel located close to Zuba Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory.
