Gumi Reveals When Kagara Students, Staff Will Be Released

Renowned Islamic scholar, Sheik Ahmed Gumi, has revealed that students and staff of Government Science College, Kagara, Niger State will be released soon.

He gave the assurance after meeting with bandits in forests between Tegina in Niger state and Birnin Gwari in Kaduna state.

Newspot understands that Gumi met with the bandits’ leader, Dogo Gide, among other top Commanders at Dutsen Magaji Forest.

The cleric appealed to the bandits to give peace a chance and negotiate with the government in order to secure the release of the abductees.

It was also gathered that the government also sent a strong delegation to meet with the bandits and dialogue with them

However, Gumi and his entourage are on their way back to Minn

Recall that the bandits invaded the school and abducted some students, staff, and family members of the school in the early hours of Wednesday, February 17, 2021.
