Former governor of Kaduna State, Senator Ahmed Makarfi, has lost his eldest son, Faisal Makarfi.
The younger Makarfi died on Saturday evening in a car accident along the Kaduna-Zaria expressway, according to a family source.
The source said that the deceased was taken to a hospital after the accident and was confirmed dead.
Makarfi was until his death a trained engineer.
He attended Kaduna International School and Adesoye College, Offa, Kwara State for his secondary education.
