The Fiwasaiye Old Girls’ Association (FOGA) UK & Europe
branch proudly announces FOGA upcoming Global Convention,
set to take place from 1st to 3rd May 2026 in London, United
Kingdom. This highly anticipated three-day event will bring
together alumnae from across the globe to celebrate their shared
heritage and strengthen their commitment to the continued
development of Fiwasaiye Girls’ Grammar School.
Following the success of the last convention hosted by the
USA/Canada Branch, the 2026 edition will be led by the FOGA
UK & Europe Branch under the inspiring theme “Roots and
Legacy.” This theme honours the enduring foundation laid by the
school’s visionary founder, Late Miss Rosa Jane Pelly (1931-
2019) and her successor Miss Sheila Davis, both of whom
originated from the United Kingdom. The early years of the
school were also enriched by dedicated educators such as Mrs.
Akinbadewa, whose contributions remain part of the school’s proud legacy.
Speaking on the significance of this event, the organizing
committee noted:
“Attending Fiwasaiye Girls’ Grammar School gave us a strong
foundation in life. This convention is not just a reunion—it’s a
commitment to upholding the legacy of our founders while
ensuring the students of today benefit from the same values,
education, and moral guidance that shaped us.”

of current students.

from youth to maturity and build stronger bonds within the
FOGA family.

£250 is required to secure a commitment letter for visa applications which can be
issued as soon as possible. Registration closes 28th February 2026, with full
payment due by this date.
