Fire Razes Katsina House Of Assembly

An unknown fire has gutted the main chamber of the Katsina State House of Assembly on Wednesday.

It was gathered that the fire incident started around 9:00 am and was, however, brought under control at 11:45 a.m.

This news platform reports that various items, including furniture, and computers, among other items in the chamber, were completely burnt.

Firefighters from the State Fire Service who came in a convoy of three vehicles were seen battling to put out the fire.

As of the time of filing this report, the cause of the fire incident was not immediately known.

Meanwhile, Katsina State Governor Aminu Bello Masari visited the burnt Chamber at 12 noon.
