Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández’s agent, Javier Pastore, has insisted that the young midfielder has no intention of leaving Chelsea, calling any punishment or criticism over his recent comments “completely unfair.”

Speaking to The Athletic FC on Friday, Pastore clarified that Enzo was simply asked which European city he would like to live in one day, and he mentioned Madrid.

“He did not mention any club or say he wants to leave Chelsea, far from it,” Pastore said.

Pastore added that at no point did Enzo express a desire to leave London or the club, stressing that his comments were misinterpreted.

The agent’s statement comes after criticism from fans and pundits, who suggested that Enzo’s remarks could signal discontent or a potential transfer.

Chelsea fans can be reassured that the 25-year-old midfielder remains committed to the club, with Pastore emphasising that Enzo’s focus remains on his career in London.

PUNCH Online reports that Fernandez will miss the club’s next two matches after making remarks about his future that the Club manager, Liam Rosenior, said crossed a line.
