The Department of State Services (DSS) has released former Director-General of the Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, Dr. Doyin Okupe.
Dr. Okupe has broken his silence on his reported arrest in Lagos State. He said that he was arrested by mistake.
He revealed in a tweet that he was on his way for his medicals when the incident happened.
“I was arrested & detained @ the MM int airport, Lagos this morning 12th Jan on my way to the UK for medicals yrs of my passport being withheld by the FHC Abuja. I have just left the EFCC office where snr officers in lagos & Abuja apologised to me for the error. OCCUPATIONAL HAZZARD abi?”
