Education
Clement started his primary school education at L.A. (Local Authority) Primary school, Ayetoro Agunla, a village under Ile-Oluji, headquarters of Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo Local Government Area of Ondo State. He completed his primary education at Baptist Primary School, Ile-Oluji. After his primary education, he moved to Gboluji Grammar School in 1979 for his secondary education where he graduated in 1984.

Because he couldn’t gain admission into the University in 1984, Clement proceeded to theFederal School of Arts and Science, Ondo. He wrote the Advanced Level Exams in 1986 and passed with flying colours. He left this institution in 1986 for Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife to study Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE). This was because he didn’t meet the cut-off mark for Accounting by three marks in the University. He graduated from the University as the best student in his department that year, an honour that earned him recognition by the University and the Rotary Club of Victoria Island East to carry out research work in some West African Countries.
Professional Career
Clement carried out his mandatory National Youth Service Programme in Dukku, Gombe State (formerly in Bauchi State). He later joined the prestigious Firm of Akintola Williams & Co (now Deloitte & Touche) in February 1993 as an Audit Trainee.
While with the Firm, Clement participated in several assignments that enabled him to travel to all the states in Nigeria, and some foreign countries. Some of the projects that he participated in were: World Bank projects in different states in Nigeria; United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) projects; Central Bank of Nigeria; Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation; NITEL Plc; African Re-Insurance Corporation; defunct Equitorial Trust Bank Limited; Guinness Nigeria Plc; First Bank of Nigeria Plc. Clement is a Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and a Chartered Tax Practitioner.
Clement qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the Firm and rose to the position of a Manager in the Audit and Assurance unit. As a result of his interest in academic excellence, Clement enrolled for a Master’s degree in Economics at the University of Lagos where he later bagged an M.SC in Economics. He left Akintola Williams Deloitte (as it was called then) in 2009 and joined Unic Insurance Plc as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He stayed briefly in the Company before starting a professional Firm that is to be known later as the CPA Partners.
