In furtherance of its corporate social responsibility and good neighbourliness policy, the Christ Livingspring Apostolic Ministry (CLAM), has donated an SUV to the Baale of Omole, Baale Saheed Olusesi The vehicle was presented during the Sunday service.

Pastor Wole Oladiyun, CLAM’s Senior Pastor, said the gesture was in line with 1 Peter 2:17 – Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king. According to him, CLAM enjoys a good relationship with the Omole community where the Ministry is located. In addition to the gift of the SUV, he disclosed that CLAM has offered full scholarships to four Muslim youths with no condition attached to it.

He added that it is the policy of CLAM to give, stressing that the church of God must provide succour and relief to a troubled and confused world.

While ministering on the theme – God the Giver, Pastor Oladiyun said CLAM follows the examples of Jesus Christ. “We believe in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Over the past 23 years, we have been involved in massive CSR through CLAM GLOBAL Outreach (CLAMGO), visiting villages and towns with the Gospel and Gifts (Bibles, Cloths), digging boreholes in villages, e.g., Nko Nton Idiya 1 in Akwa Ibom State, and building a Children Hospital in a town in Ondo state”, he stated.

Other CLAM CSR initiatives include awarding scholarships to indigent students through PAWOF – Pastor Wole Oladiyun Foundation; training of over 100 young people in various fields and vocations, including the training of a female pilot.

CLAM has operated wthin Omole for the past 20 years, during which it has related cordially with the community. Some of its CSR interventions in Omole include:

a. The renovation and furnishing of the palace of the Baale

b. Provision of a befitting car and free medicals for the former Baale Nosiru.

c. Award of scholarship to four Muslim children for the past 12 years.

d. CLAM’s Soteria Maternity & Hospital gives free medicals to the community quarterly.

e. Creation of a conducive environment for traders in the community to sell during service days.

Reiterating the need for the church of God to actively and consistently give back to society, Pastor Oladiyun said: “Everything about God is Giving; Everything about Jesus is Giving, and everything about the Holy Spirit is Giving.
