…Inside 40 editions, monthly themes and influential voices

The popular monthly interview discourse, Boiling Point Arena, is fast becoming a global brand especially in its fourth year of operations since the programme debuted in November 2022. The high-impact public discourse, now in its 40th edition, is noted for consistently bringing together influential voices to interrogate Nigeria’s most pressing challenges on month by month basis.

Boiling Point Arena is the brainchild of Dr. Ayo Arowojolu, a media professional and public intellectual at the forefront of national conversations on governance, leadership and development.

In his capacity as Convener and Moderator, Dr Arowojolu, through journalism and civic engagement, uses the Boiling Point Arena platform as a catalyst for accountability, reform and social change.

Holding every second Sunday of any month, the current affairs programme commences at 8 p.m. via Zoom and is broadcast live on six partnering radio stations across Lagos, Ogun and Delta states as at the moment over a two-hour duration. Foremost traditional ruler, the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Prof. Saka Matemilola, adds gravitas and intellectual radiance to the discourses as Keynote Speaker and Chairman.

Last month on January 11, 2026, the 39th edition commanded an overwhelming dominant audience in terms of online following and listenership on terrestrial wave, featuring popular cleric, Bishop Mathew Hassan Kukah.

This coming Sunday, February 8, 2026 promises to be another awe-inspiring package as retired Deputy Inspector-General of Police, ‘Leye Oyebade, mni, and a former United States Army Major Yinka Ogunsanya, square up on the highly contentious issue of State Policing and the need to decentralize Nigeria’s Security Architecture.
