The popular monthly interview discourse on governance and nation building, Boiling Point Arena, is eliciting increased interest from Nigerians and media groups across the globe as more radio stations are collaborating to extend reach to audiences beyond the South West.

Kruzz 92.9FM, Asaba in Delta State is the latest addition to the list of radio and television stations collaborating to widen the audience reach of Boiling Point Arena via the terrestrial frequency across Nigeria and around the globe.

Kruzz FM is located around Okpanam Road in Asaba and dedicated to providing timely, accurate and impactful news content and programmes with a special niche of devoting at least 75% of its airtime to pidgin as the language of presentation.

With deepened news content on consistent monthly basis via Zoom, about eight media groups have so far found the interview discourses worthy of being beamed live in the recent past.

Among these stations are Oodua 99.9FM, Abeokuta, Sweet 107.1FM, Abeokuta, WASH 94.9FM, Lagos, Eagle 7 Radio 103.7FM, the London-based Ben Television, Roots 97.1FM, Abeokuta, Eri-Nbe 92.1FM, Shagamu, and Women Radio 91.7FM, Arepo.

The current affairs programme with an incredibly large online followership, is the brainchild of a media professional and public relations strategist, Dr Ayo Arowojolu, who parades 35 years multi-varied work career spanning the media, banking and education sectors.

The forthcoming edition which is the 30th episode, will hold on Sunday April 13, 2025 from 8pm over a two-hour duration.

On the podium this time around is eminent elderstatesman and Columnist, Chief Tola Adeniyi who will dissect the issues around the widely held public perception about the Nigerian Legislature and the rubber stamp tag.

In essence, Chief Adeniyi is to unravel the question as to whether Nigerian lawmakers are truly Watchdog or Lapdogs to the Executive Arms to which they are to hold into account.

Topic is “The Legislature and the Waning Principle of Checks and Balances in Nigeria”.

Foremost traditional ruler, the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Prof Saka Matemilola is expected to deliver a keynote address to herald the discourse on Sunday.
