The White House could announce a ban on Russian energy imports as early as Tuesday, a new report suggests.
President Joe Biden intends to stop purchasing oil and natural gas from Moscow as prices at the pump skyrocket in the US, Bloomberg reported.
His administration has been under pressure to act since late last month when Russia’s authoritarian leader Vladimir Putin ordered an unprovoked and bloody invasion of Ukraine.
