UNILAG downgrades to 6th, Covenant Varsity overtakes OAU, UNN, UNIPORT to 2nd position, UI remains number 1. Here is the full list of the top 100 universities, their rankings in Nigeria and in the World, and factors considered for their evaluations.

The latest edition of its annual ranking of the top 100 universities in Nigeria for the year 2023 has been released, Platforms Africa reports.

This comprehensive ranking system, which evaluates Higher Education Institutions, considers various factors such as a university’s online presence through its web domain, sub-pages, rich files, scholarly articles, among other criteria.

Here below is the top 100 universities in Nigeria for the year 2023, according to the rankings published by Cybermetrics Lab – a research group under Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the largest public research organization in Spain.
