Bandits on rampage in Kaduna again, kill 20, abduct 25

Gunmen suspected to be bandits, have again unleashed mayhem on three villages in the Kaduna community, killing 20 people and abducting 25 women.

Our correspondent gathered from some of the residents that the bandits invaded the community on Friday 1 July 2022 around 2 pm, shooting sporadically, before whisking away their victims

According to him, the bandits numbering over 19, stormed the communities in a commando-style shooting, leaving villagers in tension.

He said several houses were burnt.

The Kaduna State Public Relations Officer, DSP Mohammed Jalige did not pick up his calls for confirmation of the incident.
