How Pharmacist Bankole Ige celebrated his 60th birthday in grand style

The roll call of dignitaries was impressive. There was enough food and drinks for the guests. It was the 60th birthday party of Pharmacist Bankole Ige, the Chairman of YB Pharmacy and the date was December 26, 2021.

The celebrations started with a thanksgiving service at the Anglican Church of the Ascension, Akobo, Ibadan, after which family members and friends retired to the celebrant’s home for the party. His wife, Mrs. Oyeyemi Ige, and the children were wonderful hosts and took good care of all guests.

About the celebrant

Pharmacist Oluwabankole Akinwumi Ige was born on December 26, 1961, into the family of Chief Adeduro Akinnola Ige and Mrs. Felicia Mobolanle Ige (both deceased, of Ile-Oluji, Ondo State. He is the third in a family of five.

A graduate of Pharmacy from the University of Ibadan, Banky, as he is fondly called, worked as a pharmaceutical medical representative with Pfizer pharmaceuticals before starting a pharmaceutical company of his own, YB Pharmacy and trading concerns Limited. He is also the Founder/Chairman of Bufalow Construction Nig Limited, HD & Supply services enterprises.

He was a board member of the Ondo State Water Corporation.

He is married to Oyeyemi Ige (nee Adekeye), and blessed with three promising children.
