“Having a child changed me” – singer Simi opens up on motherhood

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Simisola Kosoko, popularly known as Simi has taken to social media to share how the birth of her daughter, Adejare, changed her.

According to her, the birth of her child made her more empathetic, understanding and sharing in the feelings with other mothers.

In video post she shared on her Instagram page, the proud mother of one gave an example of how frustrating it used to be hearing a baby cry at a public gathering, but now that she is a mother and has a baby too, she understands why most parents react differently to such situation.

Simi and her husband, Adekunle Gold, welcomed their first child, Adejare, last year June 2020.
