Media entrepreneur Mo Abudu has shared her views on relationships, heartbreak and the importance of walking away from partners who show little interest.

Speaking during an interview with media personality Toke Makinwa, Abudu said she does not believe she could experience heartbreak over a man at her stage in life.

“Heartbreak. Nobody can break my heart. It’s not possible. Heartbreak. There’s no such thing as heartbreak at my age.

“If I cry, it’s not because of a man. It may be because of my work.”

The media mogul also offered advice to women, particularly younger women, urging them not to remain in relationships where the other person is clearly unwilling to commit.

According to Abudu, no woman can force a man to remain in a relationship if he does not genuinely want to be there.

“Listen, you cannot make a man be in a relationship with you. If he wants to be, he will. If he doesn’t want to be in it, he’s kidding you. Leave him. Move on. He doesn’t want to be there.”

She encouraged women to recognise the signs of an unhealthy or unwanted relationship instead of lowering their standards to keep a partner.

“You have to get over it, because you need to read the writing, guys. It is easy.

“Because don’t downgrade yourself in front of anybody.

“And to young girls, don’t downgrade yourself.”

Prompt News reports Abudu further warned women against remaining with men who repeatedly deceive them or show signs that they are no longer interested.

“He will sleep with you. He will deceive you. He will lie to you, and you’re still there. Doing what? Pressure of what? Or be with a man – a man that doesn’t want you?”

She said women should pay attention to changes in a partner’s behaviour, including prolonged periods of silence and unexplained absence.

“You know in your gut that he’s messing around. True. Because he hasn’t called you for two weeks. He’s ghosting you. He’s telling you he’s busy doing what? Chasing somebody else.

“If you see those kinds of people, leave them alone.

“Those types of people don’t want you. Please ladies.

“Anybody can have you.

“But what does it take?”
