Parts of the Nigerian Air Force aircraft that crashed near Igbokoda in Ondo State are being evacuated from the crash site as recovery efforts continue.
The debris was recovered from the site on Wednesday, October 7, as military authorities continued operations to retrieve the wreckage of the aircraft.
Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, visited the Nigerian Navy Forward Operating Base in Igbokoda to inspect the recovered debris.
GWG.ng reports that the governor’s visit came as security and military personnel intensified efforts to recover more parts of the aircraft and bring the operation at the crash site to an end.

The aircraft, which was involved in the fatal crash that claimed the lives of all 25 people on board, went down in the Igbokoda area of Ondo State during a flight from Benin to Lagos.
