Nigerian professor and inventor, Ndubuisi Ekekwe is behind a remarkable journey from helping design technology used in early iPhones to developing his own smartphone.
Ekekwe, a semiconductor engineer, was involved in designing inertial-sensor technology used in early versions of the iPhone and holds patents related to semiconductor engineering.
Years later, he has turned his expertise toward developing the ContiSX Phone, a blockchain-integrated smartphone designed around secure communication and digital finance.

From contributing to technology used by one of the world’s biggest smartphone brands to building his own device, Ekekwe’s journey is a remarkable example of Nigerian engineering talent operating at the highest levels of technology.
