Tinubu: Nigeria Has Passed Through Its Own ‘Red Sea’, Prosperity is Next

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in his 66th Independence Day address, said Nigeria has “corrected its course” after a difficult period of economic reforms and is now entering what he described as an “age of prosperity.”

He said the next phase of government policy will focus on lowering the cost of living, creating jobs, expanding industrial production and ensuring that economic growth translates into broader opportunities for Nigerians.
