Christopher Musa Endorses Tinubu, Uba Sani for 2027 Elections

Christopher Musa, minister of defence, has endorsed the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Uba Sani, governor of Kaduna state, ahead of the 2027 polls.

Speaking on Friday during a meeting with local government coordinators of GCG Musawah 4 PBAT 2027, a political mobilisation structure in Kaduna, Musa asked members of the group to remain determined in their mobilisation efforts for the re-election of Tinubu and Sani.

The meeting provided an opportunity for the minister to interact with mobilisers from 23 LGAs of Kaduna and representatives of more than 300 affiliated interest groups.

According to a statement by James Swam, secretary of the group, Musa stressed the need for collective commitment to building a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria.

“I will continue to work hard for Nigeria to succeed,” Musa said.

“We should remain determined to build this country because together we are stronger as a nation.”

Musa noted the importance of religious tolerance, national unity and peaceful coexistence, drawing from his childhood experience in Sokoto.

“I grew up in Sokoto; there is no way I can object to any religion,” he said.

The minister recalled how he participated in Sallah celebrations with his Muslim friends and neighbours as a child.

“I remember that during Sallah, as children, we were the ones who would hold the ram to be slaughtered,” he said.

Musa said Nigeria is endowed with enormous human and material resources capable of transforming the country if citizens remain united and committed to national development.

“God put us in Nigeria to build this country, and we have the capacity to do it, both in human and material resources,” Musa stated.

He urged Nigerians to see nation-building as a collective responsibility.
