Wealthy British-Nigerian businessman and influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, also known as Denisi or Ego, has died at the age of 43 after undergoing a penis-enlargement procedure during a luxury holiday in Thailand with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen.

Evidence presented at an inquest at Inner West London Coroners’ Court revealed that Igho had 40ml of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine injected into his penis at an unnamed clinic in Thailand in March. The procedure was later linked to a fatal pulmonary embolism.

Following the treatment, Igho and his wife reportedly returned to their Marriott hotel in Bangkok for a massage. He later complained of chest pain and collapsed twice before being rushed to Sukhumvit Hospital. Although he was initially conscious, he subsequently lost consciousness before doctors could carry out a recommended CT scan.

Doctors diagnosed him with a pulmonary embolism and admitted him to intensive care. Medical staff reportedly performed CPR for more than 100 minutes, but he died in the early hours of March 6.

A postmortem examination conducted in the UK later found cellular material in his lungs that matched the hyaluronic acid used during the procedure. Coroner Jean Harkin concluded that the cosmetic treatment caused the pulmonary embolism that ultimately led to his death.
