Turkish champions Galatasaray have reached an agreement with Burnley to sign Super Eagles-eligible midfielder Lesley Ugochukwu in a deal worth just under €30 million.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano disclosed this on Sunday.
He said the 22-year-old is expected to complete his move to the Turkish club shortly.
“Here we go, confirmed: Lesley Ugochukwu will sign his contract at Galatasaray shortly.
“Deal worth under €30m package from Burnley for the midfielder,” Romano wrote on X.
Ugochukwu impressed for Burnley during the 2025/26 Premier League season despite the club’s relegation to the Championship.
The midfielder made 35 league appearances, scoring three goals and providing two assists.
Once the transfer is finalised, the Nigerian-born midfielder is expected to team up with Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen at the Turkish giant.
