COMPLETION MEANS:

  • To bring an assignment to a successful end.
  • To finish what has started.
  • To bring a process to its expected conclusion.
  • To perfect what is incomplete.

EXHORTATION

  1. OUR GOD IS A GOD OF COMPLETION

Genesis 2:1-3

v.1 “Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished.”

v.2 “And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.”

v.3 “Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.”

  • God began creation.
    • God continued creation.
    • God completed creation.
    • God inspected His work.
    • God declared His work good.
    • God rested after completion.
    • God does not abandon His projects.
    • God does not start what He cannot finish.
  • YOU WILL COMPLETE THE WORK GOD HAS COMMITTED INTO YOUR HANDS IN JESUS NAME

John 4:34

“Jesus said to them, My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.”

John 17:4

“I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do.”

  • Starting is good.
    • Progress is important.
    • But completion is the evidence of accomplished purpose.
    • Every divine assignment has a beginning, a process and an expected conclusion.
  • YOU WILL NOT ONLY START WELL; YOU WILL FINISH WELL IN JESUS NAME

Ecclesiastes 7:8

“The end of a thing is better than its beginning.”

  • Good beginnings are desirable.
    • Great visions are commendable.
    • Powerful prophecies are encouraging.
    • But the testimony is established when the assignment is completed.
  • COMPLETION ATTRACTS GLORY, CELEBRATION AND TESTIMONIES

Exodus 40:33-34

“So Moses finished the work. Then the cloud covered the tabernacle of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.”

  • Moses finished the work, then the glory came down.
    • Completion attracts celebration.
    • Completion produces testimonies.
    • Completion silences mockers.
    • Completion validates divine assignment.
  • GOD HAS THE POWER TO COMPLETE WHAT HUMAN STRENGTH CANNOT COMPLETE

Zechariah 4:6-7

“Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the LORD of hosts. Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!”

  • There are assignments human intelligence cannot complete.
    • There are projects money alone cannot complete.
    • There are visions connections alone cannot complete.
    • We need the help of the Holy Spirit.
  • GOD IS INTERESTED IN THE COMPLETION OF ABANDONED PROJECTS

Ezra 5:1-2

“Then the prophet Haggai and Zechariah prophesied to the Jews… So Zerubbabel and Jeshua rose up and began to build the house of God.”

  • The temple project had stopped.
    • God sent prophetic help.
    • God revived the builders.
    • God restored momentum.
    • God released helpers.
  • JESUS COMPLETED HIS REDEMPTIVE ASSIGNMENT. RECEIVE GRACE TO COMPLETE YOUR DIVINE ASSIGNMENT

John 19:30 NKJV

“So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.”
