‎Fuji singer, Shanko Rasheed has announced the passing of his young son with, condolences pouring in from fans and industry colleagues.

‎The singer made the heartbreaking announcement on Friday, February 27, 2026, via Instagram.

‎According to the post which conveyed his grief, the singer bid his young son, Atanda, a farewell, emphasizing that no parent prays to lose a child in a lifetime.

‎ It would be recalled that the music industry was thrown into mourning as Afrofuji singer, Destiny Boy passed away on January 18, 2026, at 22.

Destiny Boy’s mother, Saida Adeshina, revealed that her son died from a long-term illness called “Ogu Oru,” which caused recurring seizures.

The singer was buried on January 23, 2026, at his father’s compound in Ayetoro Yewa, Ogun State.

The burial was a somber ceremony attended by family, friends, and fans, with emotional scenes as his body was laid to rest.
