“Only Reason You Fight My Husband Is Drugs” — Co-Wife Laila Accuses Regina of Addiction, Claims She ‘Sleeps’ with Every Girl Around Her

The ongoing marital drama in the household of Senator Ned Nwoko has taken a dramatic turn as his fifth wife, Laila Charani, publicly accused her co-wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, of drug use and other inappropriate behaviour.

Laila made the allegations in a series of posts on her Instagram page on Wednesday, claiming that Regina’s recent public outbursts were part of a wider attempt to cover up her alleged “drug and alcohol addiction.”

According to Laila, the only reason Regina is at odds with their husband is that Nwoko reportedly asked her to quit her alleged substance habits.

“The only reason you are fighting my husband is because he wants you to stop your drug addiction,” Laila wrote.

She added that Ned Nwoko had made it clear that he would never tolerate any wife who smokes, drinks, or uses drugs.

Laila’s comments were in response to Regina’s earlier claims that she had been “feeding” Laila and giving her money in their matrimonial home. Denying the allegations, Laila challenged Regina to make their financial records public.

“I never got money from you. Let’s both show Nigerians our bank accounts to see who pays money into whose account,” she said.

In her lengthy post, Laila also accused the actress of introducing her to drugs six years ago a habit she said nearly cost her her marriage. She further alleged that Regina had introduced drugs to some of their domestic staff, including her younger sister, Destiny.

“I will never trust my daughters around Regina unsupervised because she sleeps with every single girl around her,” Laila claimed.

She urged Regina to “seek help immediately, continue with her rehabilitation, and leave the other wives out of it.”

As of press time, Regina Daniels had not responded to the allegations. Neither Ned Nwoko nor his representatives have issued an official statement on the matter.

The unfolding dispute has reignited public debate about the high-profile polygamous marriage, which has long drawn attention due to its controversies and the stark age difference between the businessman and his youngest wife.
