Firstly, Nigeria needed to finish in second Place in Group C which we have already done.

Secondly, Out of 9 groups from Africa, we needed to be ranked in the Top 4 amongst the second placed teams out of the nine. Meaning not all the 9 second placed will make the play-offs.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we ticked this box once we scored those 4 unreplied goals against Benin Republic.

Thirdly, We will need to beat our opponent in the semi final of the African Playoffs.

Fourthly, We need to Beat the Opponent in the Final of the African Playoffs. Then we move to……

INTER-CONFEDERATION PLAY-OFFS

Number 5, If we are successful then, We would represent Africa in the Inter-Confederation Playoffs Consisting of 6 teams.

⚪Number 6, If We are one of the top 2 teams with Highest FIFA ranking among the 6 we would qualify straight to the Final of the Inter-Confederation Playoffs.

We can’tbank on this because of our FIFA ranking but fingers crossed.

🟢Number 7, We will need to beat our Semi Final Opponents in the Inter-Confederation Playoffs.

⚪Number 8, We will need to beat the other finalists in the Inter-Confederation Playoffs.

🟢Only then can we qualify as one of the 48 teams that will compete at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
