It was a fairytale moment in the breathtaking landscapes of Iceland as billionaire businessman Femi Otedola gave his daughter, Temi Otedola, in marriage to her longtime partner, Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi. The intimate white wedding, which took place on August 8, 2025, in a private grand setting surrounded by Iceland’s serene views, brought together close family, friends, and a select circle of dignitaries.
The ceremony radiated elegance, with Temi glowing in a custom white gown that exuded simplicity and class, while Mr Eazi looked dashing in a classic tuxedo. The couple, who had been together for several years before their engagement, sealed their union in a dreamy celebration that blended luxury with intimacy. The groom also had a surprise for the bride, having secretly booked John Legend to perform.
In his emotional speech, the bride’s father advised his daughter to embrace her new role as a wife with grace and commitment. He said, “You found a great guy and a blessed guy from a decent family. One thing I will advise you, Temi, is that you have to succumb to your husband. He is your husband, he is your boss. There is no more daddy. Don’t call me o. One thing I observed about them is that they are truly in love with each other.”

Adding his voice, Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, described the union as one of the most significant weddings of the year. He said, “Iceland is a very special place. This wedding is so special, I had to cancel so many events to be here because Temi is a very special person to the family and Tosin, you are very lucky to have a great wife, someone who is very entrepreneurial. Right from childhood, Temi didn’t really want to count on her father’s money. Tosin, when I was with you yesterday, you were just talking about business. I congratulate you for being a great guy and we are really proud of you. Knowing that the two of you are always very charming, very entrepreneurial, I’m sure in the next few years we will take a back seat and call you the richest people on earth.”
Dangote also lightened the mood with a promise, saying he would host a party for the couple’s first child.
According to Dangote, the couple would in the future be called the richest people on earth.
He said, “I never knew that you have businesses in 18 countries in Africa. I must really congratulate you for being a great guy.
“Knowing that the two of you are always very charming, very entrepreneurial, I’m sure in the next few years we will take a back seat and call you the richest people on earth.”
He further said of Otedola, the chairman of Geregu Power and First Bank, “Femi is not only my friend, he is my brother. Where you see me, you see Femi. If there is any brother that I have that is not of the same mother and father, that brother is Femi.”
Prior to the white wedding in Iceland, the couple had already celebrated their love in two other iconic locations. Their journey began on May 9, 2025, in Monaco, France, where they held an intimate civil ceremony at Villa La Vigie. Temi stunned in a chic white suit by Wiederhoeft, while Mr Eazi wore Louis Vuitton.
Two months later, the celebration moved to Dubai for their vibrant Yoruba traditional wedding, hosted at the Otedola family home. The event showcased the rich culture of their heritage, with Temi dazzling in multiple custom outfits from designers such as Zac Posen, Miss Sohee, and Lisa Folawiyo. Guests enjoyed traditional Nigerian delicacies, live music by King Sunny Adé, and a festive atmosphere that paid homage to their roots. One of the couple’s traditional attires that caught people’s attention was the matching wine-coloured outfit they wore for the day. Detailed with blue artistic patterns, the attire was pure art.
Meanwhile, the newlyweds are excited to be hitched and have not hidden it from the public eye. Despite the influence associated with the Otedola name, Temi quickly embraced her husband’s family name, Ajibade. On his part, Mr Eazi recently shared a playful video about his new life as a married man, which included taking every opportunity to flaunt his wedding ring.
