It has been a long time since Manchester United had a reliable goalscorer up front, after ultimately deciding an upgrade was needed on Rasmus Hojlund.
United recently announced the signing of Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig, securing the 22-year-old striker in a deal worth an initial £66 million.
Sesko was introduced to the Old Trafford faithful ahead of the team’s final pre-season friendly of the summer as the Red Devils beat Fiorentina on penalties.
Ruben Amorim has yet to decide whether to give Sesko his United debut in the Premier League opener against Arsenal on Sunday, especially after missing the entirety of pre-season with the Reds.
After beginning work with his new teammates at United on Sunday, Sesko conducted his first interview with club media.
