A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Adeyinka Moyosore Kotoye(SAN), two prominent traditional rulers, the Olu of Itori, Oba Fatai Akamo, Olu of Siun, Oba Lawrence Adisa Odeyinka, and 15 other eminent personalities are to be conferred with an honorary Doctorate at an international conference held in Abeokuta on Saturday, 16th August 2025.

Other notable awardees drawn from different walks of life are the Ogun State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps(NSCDC), Remilekun Ekundayo, a United States-based businessman, Mr Musa Sani Anwalu, Surveyor Mrs Rántí Lemboye, Hon. Oladipo Akingbade, and a Police Area Commander in the State.
Others include Apostle Wale Fatolu, Chief Oluwakemi Odubote, Apostle Matthew Omooninkan, Mrs Felicia Okanlawon, and Mr Adekunle Shoneye.

The rest are Mrs Mary Adenekan, Mrs Ruth Oladipupo, Rev Tunji Akintayo, Pastor Balogun Timothy, and Apostle John Ayilara.
They are to be conferred with Doctoral honours at the forthcoming Leadership Empowerment International Conference(LEIC), holding from 15th August to 16th August, 2025.
The award is being conferred by a South African-based Immanuel Theology Institute International in conjunction with Priesthood Leadership Development Initiative Inc(PLDI) based in Nigeria.
The venue of the two-day conference is Continental Suites, located on IBB Boulevard, Abeokuta.
The awards ranged from Doctor of Leadership (D.L) and Doctor of Theology (D.Th).

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, who is the Global Patron of the organization, is expected as the Conference Keynote Speaker at the event.
The theme of the conference is: Leadership and Followership: “The Bonding Factor and The Consequences of Insincerity”.
Addressing journalists on Friday in Abeokuta, the International Coordinator of Priesthood Leadership Development Initiative Inc., Prof. Olusesi Obateye disclosed that the honour is being bestowed on the awardees in recognition of their far-reaching contributions and impact on society.
The international Coordinator, Prof Obateye, spoke on the theme of the conference, lamenting that the insincerity of leaders in the African continent remains the bane of our under-development despite the myriads of God-given natural resources.
