Many Confirmed Dead In Lagos-Ibadan Expressway crash

Many persons have been confirmed dead in the early morning crash on Friday that occurred in the Berger area of Lagos State on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Contrary to earlier report, it was not a lone accident involving a 40ft tanker bearing a container that crashed

Rather, it was a crash of the tanker, whose container fell on some vehicles and into which some others ran into after it fell.

A few metres after that, a Lafarge cement mixer and a car also ran into each other in a bid to avoid crashing into the fallen tanker.

Videos from the accident scene showed no fewer than three vehicles affected by the accident, which completely locked down the expressway for over an hour.
