Nollywood actress Regina Daniel has deactivated her Instagram account, fueling speculation surrounding rumours that her husband, billionaire businessman and politician Ned Nwoko is in a relationship with her senior colleague, Chika Ike, with even a child being expected.

Social media has been abuzz with claims that Nwoko, who is married to six wives, Regina being the youngest, is secretly expecting another child with Chika Ike.

The rumours gained traction after Chika Ike recently announced her pregnancy, sharing maternity photos that sparked both congratulatory messages and controversy.

Adding to the speculation, Regina, known for publicly supporting her husband’s political career, was noticeably silent on his recent defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

She also did not post any Valentine’s Day tribute to him, which was a deviation from her usual social media activity.

Further fueling the reports, the 24-year-old actress’ Instagram account is no longer accessible with online sources suggesting that Chika Ike is allegedly set to move into the billionaire’s mansion, potentially replacing Regina.

Ademola AKINBOLA is an author, publisher, trainer, digital marketing strategist, and a brand development specialist with nearly three decades of experience in the areas of branding, communication, corporate reputation management, business development, organizational change management, and digital marketing.

He is the Founder and Head Steward at BrandStewards Limited, a brand and reputation management consultancy. He is also the Publisher of The Podium International Magazine, Ile-Oluji Times, and Who’s Who in Ile-Oluji.

He had a successful media practice at The Guardian, Punch and This Day.

He started his brand management career at Owena Bank as Media Relations Manager before joining Prudent Bank (now Polaris Bank) as the pioneer Head of Corporate Affairs.

The British Council appointed him as Head of Communication and Marketing to co-ordinate branding and reputation management activities at its Lagos, Abuja, Kano and Port Harcourt offices.

In 2007, he was recruited as the Head of Corporate Planning and Strategy for the Nigerian Aviation Handling company. He led on the branding, strategic planning and stakeholder management support function.
