Gov Abiodun awards N7.5M to Ogun poly’s top Graduates

Governor Dapo Abiodun awarded N2.5 million each to the three best-graduating students of Ogun State Polytechnic of Health and Allied Sciences Ilese-Ijebu for their academic excellence during the institution’s 3rd combined convocation.

– The recipients are Famuyewa Aminat (Dental Technology, CGPA 3.75), Rasak Temilola (Health Information Management, CGPA 3.68), and Kanyinsola Salami (Environmental Health Technology, CGPA 3.94). Salami also emerged as the overall best-graduating student.

– Governor Abiodun emphasized his administration’s dedication to fostering intellectual growth and excellence, highlighting continued investments in the state’s educational sector.

– Dr. Rasaki Akinbo, the institution’s Rector, spoke on the polytechnic’s progress, including the accreditation of new programs, infrastructure development, and the launch of its Master Plan.

– The Chairman of the Polytechnic’s Governing Council, Kunle Kakejaiye, urged the state government to provide more support, particularly for infrastructure improvements such as road tarring and additional funding.
