Reports said that the vigilante eventually impregnated the woman.

It was also gathered that the woman recently informed the suspect that she was pregnant, but that he allegedly asked her to terminate it.

The woman, however, insisted that the pregnancy must be kept.

The suspect, two days ago, reportedly called the woman to see him at night, but before the woman left the house, she told her children that the suspect called and invited her over.

She told her children that they should lock the door and sleep in case she did not return.

The following day, the lifeless body of the deceased woman was discovered near the abode of a former senator.

The deceased woman’s son following interrogation said that the suspect had summoned his mother the night before.

Promptly, a search party was launched, and they caught the suspect who was already running out of the community.

He was apprehended and beaten before he was handed over to the Police for further interrogation and possible prosecution.

Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, had yet to respond, as of press time, to a text message sent to him
