It was a day of joy amongst family , friends and well wishers from within Nigeria and the diaspora as they celebrate an outstanding leader, father,grand father, philanthropist and a shining light from Ileoluji while glowing tributes poured out for Builder Olusola Olowoshile as he marked his 80th birthday held at Dejavu Hotel in Akure .
The birthday celebration of the octogenarian started at St Mary the Virgin, Alagbaka Akure with a holy Communion service conducted by the Anglican Diocesan Bishop of Ileoluji, Rt Rev Abel Oluyomi Ajibodu.
Appreciating God for the life of the celebrant, the wife , Mrs Anuoluwapo Olowoshile and children Dr Foluke Odeyalemi nee Olowoshile , Olumide Olowoshile , Femi Olowoshile, Tolulope Olowoshile, Ronke Olowoshile and Shola Olowoshile described him as a caring, hardworking person who is always willing to help people.

The chairman of the occasion (Former Chairman Ondo State Civil service commission) Dr Afolabi Adewakun described Builder Olowoshile as a star for the people of Ileoluji while the
Chairman, organizing committee for the event and former head of service, Pastor Niran Adeyemo eulogized him as an exemplary leader.
In a remark, the celebrant , Builder Olusola Olowoshile who could not hide how grateful and elated he was at the sight of families and friends appreciated the guests for celebrating him.
Delivering a lecture on foods for the elderly as part of the event , a don , Professor Nathaniel Fagbemi from the department of food technology Federal University of Technology FUTA Akure enjoined the elderly to make their
diet a priority and take more of fruits and vegetables for a healthy living.
The birthday celebration also featured a book launch titled “from grass to grace” with the former commissioner for finance in Ondo State Hon. Wale Akinterinwa as the chief launcher.
Other dignitaries who graced the occasion were Diocesan Bishop of Ileoluji Rt Rev. Abel Ajibodu who led other Anglican clergymen, Hon. Nelson Akinsuroju (Member House of Assembly), chairman transition Committee ileoluji okeigbo Hon C.A Akinrelere, Commissioner for Environment Ondo State Engr Oyeniyi Oseni, Barrister Ade Akinbosade( Book reviewer), members of I.N.U, Dr Mrs Oyin Adekanye nee Olowoshile ,Chief Johnson Adeyeye Ladegbaye and wife, kayode Ojo , Chief Imam of central mosque ileoluji Alhaji Omiata amongst others.
Highlights of the birthday celebration was the presentation of scholarship (with cheques) to fifteen ileoluji students, cheques donated by the celebrant to Anglican churches and the central mosque in ileoluji for the propagation of God’s work and induction of the celebrant Builder Olowoshile to Ileoluji Times hall of fame.
