While some opined that he might have been bribed by the lawmaker, others said that he might have been intimidated into submission and asked to tender an apology.

Social media activist, VeryDarkMan, who championed the campaign for compensation for the Bolt’s driver following last week’s slapping incident, took to social media to share his disappointment.
VeryDarkMan explained that he had even petitioned the police to ensure the lawmaker was held accountable, saying that he worked tirelessly to secure justice for the driver, including negotiating compensation worth N5 million and a Corolla vehicle after associates of the lawmaker pleaded for amicable settlement.
He said after receiving the compensation, the bolt driver, distanced himself from VeryDarkMan afterward, adding that the development took an unexpected turn when VeryDarkMan learned that the driver and his brother had reportedly visited the lawmaker’s home, and shortly after, the apology video surfaced.
Commenting on the matter, VeryDarkMan expressed utter disappointment, alleging that the bolt driver “sold out” and compromised his integrity.
VeryDarkMan, however, assured the public that he would continue to pursue the case to ensure accountability and justice, just as he promised to reveal more about the situation as new information surfaced.
