Barcelona president Joan Laporta has said he rejected an offer of €250 million for Lamine Yamal six months ago.
It was claimed over the summer that PSG were willing to splash out heavily on Yamal, and Laporta says he has turned down a huge offer.
“They came to buy Lamine from me for 250 million euros and I said no six months ago. He is the most popular player in the world. What is Lamine’s real value?” he told Barca One.
“Well, that is not reflected in the book value. Fortunately, there are indicators such as the Forbes list, which values the club at many billions, not how it was valued last year.”
Laporta also spoke about the current team and told the first-team squad that anyone who wants to leave needs to bring a decent offer.

Yamal’s value has gone through the roof since he burst onto the scene. The last valuation from Transfermarkt claimed he’s now worth $164 million (€150 million), but his contract at Barca contains a release clause set at €1 billion.
