Newly re-elected FCT FA Chairman Mohammed Mouktar Adam has called on the leadership of NFF to engage the services of competent Technical Adviser if Nigeria is to win 2024 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Voire.
Mouktar said judging by the last qualifier against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone , the Super Eagles have what it takes to lift the trophy with experience manager to coordinate the players.
“Our players are good but they need a sound coach to put them together. We have experience players making waves in European clubs.
“We also have good players locally that can fight for shirt. For me, Super Eagles have what it takes to win Nations Cup next year.
“My advice for NFF Executive Committee is not to be in a hurry in renewing any contract be it Super Eagles and Super Falcons. I foresee Super Eagles winning AFCON 2024 in Cote d’Voire with a right coach”. Mouktar stated .
He also advised the NFF to ensure that Super Eagles play quality friendly matches on FIFA windows ahead of the AFCON.
