Nyesom Wike, the outspoken Governor of Rivers State has carpetted Godswill Akpabio, former Governor of Akwa boom State, threatening to deal with him if he doesn’t stop attacking South-South Governors.
Akpabio has been quoted as challenging South-South Governors to show what they have done with the huge amount they have collected over the years without a corresponding development in the Niger Delta.
Akpabio is the current Minister of Niger Delta, a former Senator, and the Senate’s Minority Leader. He also served as Governor of Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria from May 29, 2007 to May 29, 2015.
Wike lampooned Akpabio, saying he lacks the moral pedestal to attack him and other governors. Watch video below.
