Honestly speaking, propaganda of any government, is to sells the government policies but unfortunately, we have an information minister and the entire presidential media handlers that have gone to sleep. Lai Muhammed thought that the only time he need to wake up is when it comes to selling his party and doing ‘O te go’ This information lapses has portrayed government policies in bad lights and given miscreants the impetus to reading negative meaning to the good intentions of Buhari administration.
In this digital age, digital people suppose to be deployed to manage information while the like of Lai Muhammed should be giving a chieftaincy tittle for the job well done for the party.
This dispensation is one of the most difficult critical one when there is need to introduce some harsh policies to get things done. Government need to do more on information to counter liars, bigots and even politicised religious houses that have been deprived of brown envelopes.
The majority of the masses are after their stomach, it is difficult for them to understand why price of Garri is going higher even amidst COVUD-19 Pandemic era.
The deregulation of the downstream sector has to be explained. You can not be saying our debt portfolio is going up and you want to fill the tank of your car for free with government money. This is to tell you that subsidy can not be sustained any more. Growth and infrastructural revamp is better and much needed for the future
Those rejecting IPPIS have something to hide because 90% of Nigerians are not honest. ASSU is fighting not to be enrolled on IPPIS because of the fear that they will lose all they have been looting through the system but here they will use grammar to confuse you for the cover up. It is the duty of the government to let the people know all these. How much is the information apparatus around the president doing on this?
The situation in the power sector has been critical, somebody sold our future to themselves and badly managed it and even blocked the escape routes but yet the blame is going to the wrong government looking for solution. Who is to explain all these? Is it me? For how much? The office of the information minister has lost its value. Where is our national orientation?
There has been controversies on CAMA by individuals, clergymen who wish to retain and survive in an impunity prone system. It is the duty of national orientation agency under the ministry of information to educate the masses against the cash cows that the policy to regulate this organisations is over due and that those using their donations to buy jets are abusing the purpose of their donations.
The Buharists are doing extra jobs to defend and sell this government while those employed to do so are always dumb. Sometimes they will come out with archaic and lame defence statements when the damage has been done. We all know what the looters left free to rant are doing to tarnish the government.
We are witness to lies that Farouk Kperogi is paid to do. We see Omokri twisting tweeting his tongue on lies and spreading hate. We are here with FFK that has just undone himself destroying his reputation among his gullible foes
CAN, Afenifofobi Nnamdi Kanu and other Social media miscreants that looters have employed to do their biddings. These are the more reason the information apparatus suppose to be steady, agile, active and equipped to discharge accordingly but unfortunately we are managing lepers. Some times, i see myself doing better for no pay.
