Pashotah, the wife of popular content creator, Egungun of Lagos, has disclosed a blackmail attempt involving a private video of her husband.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, she revealed that the blackmailer had reached out to her directly, threatening to release the video unless specific demands were met.
In her statement, she explained that while she had previously ignored similar issues, she felt the need to speak out this time because the threats were directed at her.

Screenshots shared in her post showed the blackmailer demanding action to prevent the video from being circulated online.
Addressing the content of the video, she clarified that it was a private recording intended for her, which had somehow fallen into the wrong hands.
She also highlighted her active involvement in her husband’s work, stating that she has been present for most of his projects and remains confident in his integrity.
Speaking further, she dismissed the blackmail attempt as futile, saying that it would not affect her relationship or compel her to comply with the demands.
She, however, described her marriage as one built on trust, loyalty, and commitment, emphasising that it has remained strong for over six years.
The statement reads partly, “Hi guys, I’m Pashotah and yall know who my husband is, obviously, I know how so many people have wanted to bring the both of us down including guys and girls Buh I always choose to ignore, buh I’m not ignoring today cuz this blackmailer didn’t go to Egungun of Lagos directly to blackmail him buh he came to me instead cuz he has a motive of putting me to shame like he said in his messages above buh one thing he (the blackmailer) doesn’t know is that this relationship between myself and my husband is not just build on LOVE or build today, this relationship has been coming for over 6/8years when we both had nothing, this relationship is built on TRUST, UNDERSTANDING, LOYALTY, COMMITMENT and so many more, so there’s nothing that can bring us down, not even now.”
