Ondo State protesters have defied the 24- hour curfew imposed by Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on Tuesday night.
In several streets monitored, bonfires set up by protesters were seen. Some people were seen moving about.
At Oba Ile in Akure North, police dispersed protesters on the streets.
There were protesters gathered at roadblock junctions but policemen that stormed the area could not stop them.
The police fired tear gas but had to depart as the protesters refused to leave.
At Otegbeye, Idanre road Oke-aro in Akure protesters were reported to have gathered and dancing to music from a disc jockey.
Meanwhile, protesters at Ondo town were said to have set a building of the FCMB on fire after a policeman shot one of them dead.
