In a goodwill message, the Obarisi of Urhoboland described the monarch as “the first-class custodian of the pristine culture and traditional values of the Itsekiri ethnic Nation”.

According to Senator Omo-Agege, Ogiame Ikenwoli is “a respected traditional ruler who constantly distinguishes himself by exemplary acts of excellent friendship across boundaries and towards all people.”

The lawmaker noted that like many leaders across the country, he enjoys a robust personal relationship with the royal father because of what he described as his “deep and unique understanding of the value of positive human relationships”.

He prayed for more divine health, wisdom and protection for him as he continues to reign in the noble and exalted throne of his ancestors to the glory of God Almighty.
