Nigerians in Diaspora Organization, Americas (NIDOA), USA, holds its annual National Summit/AGM virtually on December 26 and 27, 2020.
With the theme, Post-COVID Rebuilding Strategies: Diaspora Perspectives, the summit also marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Nigerians in Diaspora Organization as the umbrella body of all Nigerians and Nigerian-Americans in the United States.
NIDO Americas USA provides a unique platform for intellectuals, technocrats, policymakers, workers, and all Nigerians in the Diaspora to partner with Government at all levels for national development.
This year’s national summit will feature plenary sessions on key areas of national discourse such as education reforms, homeland security, police-community relations, healthcare/education reforms systems, civic education, and indigenous technology development.
There will also be a showcase of NIDOA-USA achievements and ongoing initiatives throughout the two-day summit which will be concluded with the swearing-in of the organization’s new Board of Directors chaired by Dr. Eromonsele Idahosa. He succeeds Ms Patience Key, who successfully steered the affairs of the organization from 2017 to date.
