The three-day Campus Liberation Crusade organised at the main campus of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State by the Christ Livingspring Apostolic Ministry (CLAM) ended last weekend with the Senior Pastor of CLAM, Pastor Wole Oladiyun admonishing the students to desist from acts that are inimical to their personal, spiritual, and academic well-being.
The Crusade, organised under the aegis of CLAMGO (Christ Livingspring Apostolic Ministry Global Outreach) – the evangelism arm of CLAM, featured deliverance sessions, youth development seminars, ministers’ conference, drama and music ministrations. CLAMGO also gave out a lot of welfare items, including several copies of Pastor Oladiyun’s books.
Pastor Oladiyun, who led a host of other ministers, including Apostle Dele Johnson, to minister at the crusade, challenged the students to discover their purpose and live their lives for Jesus Christ in order for them to fulfill their destinies. He charged them never to lose hope or be despondent, saying Nigeria will definitely overcome its present challenges and take her rightful place in the comity of nations.
Focus, integrity, consistency, perseverance, tenacity, and creativity are some of the principles of success which he outlined for the students, adding that there is no shortcut to success except through process.
Pastor Wole Oladiyun is the Founder and Senior Pastor of CLAM. He is one man who has not lost focus on the assignment God handed over to him since April 2, 1998. He has never failed to remind the congregation that his office, which translates to his core assignment is in the ‘bush’ as he fondly and proudly calls villages, and not in the auditorium or four walls of a church building. He is one soldier of Christ who considers first his evangelical ministry above any other office he graciously operates.
CLAM has organised crusades in virtually all parts of Nigeria, covering remote and dangerous villages in Edo, Delta, Imo, Abia, Enugu, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Osun, Ondo, Ogun, Osun, etc.. Pastor Wole Oladiyun and his CLAMGO team have gone to daring places like the notorious Okija, where even the indigenes themselves would not dare, and today the land has been delivered for Christ.
Interestingly, CLAM has never collected one kobo as offering at all its crusades. This is in obedience to God’s strict instruction to Pastor Oladiyun. Rather than collect offering, CLAM usually donates welfare items such as food, cloths, shoes, etc to the people at each crusade.
