“I’ll Never Leave My Husband”: Homeless Woman Sleeping Outside in Abuja Shares Emotional Story of Love and Survival

A Nigerian woman has touched the hearts of many people online after opening up about her painful struggle with homelessness and poverty while insisting she would never abandon her husband despite their harsh living condition.

The emotional story, which surfaced on social media, has sparked reactions from Nigerians, with many praising the woman’s loyalty and commitment to her marriage during difficult times.

According to her narration, she and her husband reportedly travelled to Abuja in search of better opportunities and a fresh start in life.

However, things allegedly became worse after they arrived in the city, leaving them without shelter or stable income for several months.

The woman revealed that the couple has reportedly been homeless since January and now survive by sleeping outside while struggling daily to find food to eat.

Despite their hardship, she maintained that she would never leave her husband because of the love and bond they share.

Speaking emotionally in the viral video, the woman explained that some of her family members abandoned her after she refused pressure to leave her husband for another man believed to be financially stable.

“I cannot leave my husband for any reason. Because of him, all my family members abandoned me. We’ve been homeless since January and we sleep outside, but I’ll never leave my husband. We barely see food to eat and people laugh at us as if we are nothing,” she said.

She further disclosed that her grandmother allegedly sent her out of the house after she refused to end her relationship and marry someone else.

According to her, life was not always this difficult for the couple, as her husband was financially stable before she became pregnant for him.

She explained that unexpected challenges later changed their situation, pushing them into severe hardship and homelessness.

“He was not this poor when I got pregnant for him, but regardless, I have decided to stay with him. We’ve been praying and I know God will come through for us,” she added.
