The RASA Rosetta Awards is a prestigious honour awarded to restaurants that strive for service excellence and overall contribution to the upliftment of the restaurant industry in South Africa.

Hombaze African Cuisine is the foremost African restaurant in South Africa. Established in 2003 by Mr. Kenneth Ayere, a serial entrepreneur and former Bureau Chief of the News Agency of Nigeria,  Southern Africa Bureau, Hombaze provides popular meals from East, West, Southern, and Central Africa.

Hombaze offers a unique African fine dining experience with a great ambiance. The restaurant is designed to ease the exploration of delicious African culinary delights in one spot, particularly by tourists. Mr. Ayere is also the Founder of Ayere Education Centre, Nigeria; Founder of Lifestyle Value Mall, Nigeria; Franchisee of Caltex Oil, South Africa, and former Bureau Chief of the News Agency of Nigeria for Southern and Central Africa. A retired Federal Civil Servant in Nigeria, he is married to Mrs. Nogie Ayere, and the marriage is blessed with children and grandchildren.
