The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ogun State Command has convicted 18 motorists for variousoffences such as illegal parking, overload, breach of Coronavirus protocols, and other traffic-related crimes.

The Sector Commander, Ahmed Umar confirmed this on Saturday, adding that its mobile court sitting at RS2.24 Ogere along Lagos-Ibadan expressway, convicted the offenders

The Federal Road Safety Corps, (FRSC), boss  explained that, the enforcement of the orders are now been jointly  effected along the expressway  with other agencies which include; Nigeria Police Force and Nigeria Security Civil Defence Corps,(NSCDC)

Umar said the roles of the agencies are to enforce prohibition of double and illegal parkings at construction areas, to remove all obstruction/gridlocks to ensure smooth flow of motor traffic.

The Sector Commander in view of this, the enforcement is being closely monitored to forestall any untoward event, adding that, it has being hitch free and successful as the road cleared of all obstructions and gridlocks
