Delta State Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr Chiedu Ebie and the State Commissioner for Information, Mr Charles Aniagwu, have tested positive for Coronavirus, according to a statement by the Delta State Government posted on its Twitter handle.
“The Secretary to the State Government of Delta State, Mr. Chiedu Ebie and the Commissioner for Information, Mr. Charles Aniagwu, have tested positive for #COVID19,” the tweet read. “Both officials exhibited mild symptoms of the virus and consequently subjected themselves to the #COVID19 test. “They have been moved to an isolation centre, are stable, and responding well to treatment., the tweet reads.
Delta State also confirmed that 83 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the state.
